The Gamewell-FCI ASD-PL3-IV Intelligent Photoelectric Smoke Detector provides addressable smoke detection for compatible Gamewell-FCI fire alarm systems. It uses photoelectric sensing technology and is designed for Velociti or CLIP protocol operation, making it suitable for supported legacy and intelligent addressable systems.
The “-IV” suffix identifies the ivory-color version of the detector. Its low-profile construction, rotary point addressing, dual status LEDs, and optional remote annunciator output make it suitable for commercial and institutional fire alarm applications.
Intelligent Photoelectric Detection
The ASD-PL3-IV operates from 15 to 32 VDC and communicates smoke conditions to a compatible Gamewell-FCI fire alarm control panel. It supports up to 159 point addresses and provides panel-controlled red, green, or amber LED indication.
The detector also supports an optional RA100Z remote LED annunciator and is listed for use in duct applications when installed according to Gamewell-FCI requirements.

Electrical and Physical Specifications
The Gamewell-FCI ASD-PL3-IV draws approximately 200 µA at 24 VDC during normal operation. Maximum alarm current is 2 mA at 24 VDC, while maximum current is 4.5 mA at 24 VDC.
Operating temperature is 32°F to 122°F (0°C to 50°C) with a humidity range of 10% to 93% non-condensing. The detector measures approximately 2.0 inches high when installed on a B300-6 base and weighs approximately 3.4 oz. (95 g).
Compatibility and Product Notice
Important: Honeywell issued a recall covering certain ASD-PL3-IV detectors with date codes 8034 through 9013 when operated in CLIP mode because affected sensors could fail to alert during a fire. Buyers should verify the date code before installing a used or replacement detector.
