Mircom MIX-5351AP. Intelligent Heat Detector.

Mircom MIX-5351AP Intelligent Heat Detector

The Mircom MIX-5351AP Intelligent Heat Detector delivers dependable fire detection by monitoring elevated temperatures rather than smoke. Designed for environments where smoke detectors might produce false alarms, this heat detector ensures accurate performance and fast response to real fire conditions.

Key Features

Advanced Heat Sensing Technology

The MIX-5351AP detects fixed high temperatures or a rapid rise in heat, using either fixed temperature or rate-of-rise heat sensing. This dual approach provides a reliable solution in areas with dust, steam, or other airborne particles that may interfere with smoke detectors.

Intelligent Addressability

This detector communicates with Mircom’s addressable control panels, reporting its exact status and location in real-time. This feature enhances emergency response by allowing personnel to identify the triggered device instantly.

Durable and Compact Design

Built with rugged materials, the MIX-5351AP stands up to harsh conditions. Its compact profile allows it to fit unobtrusively into various environments, including warehouses, kitchens, and mechanical rooms.

Easy Installation and Maintenance

The unit includes a base that simplifies wiring and mounting. Additionally, it features a visible LED indicator that flashes to confirm normal operation or provides a steady signal when in alarm, reducing maintenance time.

Applications

The Mircom MIX-5351AP Intelligent Heat Detector is ideal for environments that experience extreme temperatures or airborne contaminants. You can confidently install it in commercial kitchens, boiler rooms, parking garages, and manufacturing facilities where traditional smoke detection may not be suitable.

Moreover, its intelligent communication protocol allows it to integrate seamlessly into complex fire alarm systems. This compatibility supports both new installations and system upgrades, offering flexibility across a range of applications.

Advantages

• Reduced False Alarms: Perfect for dusty or humid areas where smoke detectors often fail.
