FDD CF-135-2CO-MP Heat Detector

The FDD CF-135-2CO-MP Heat Detector is a fixed-temperature heat detector designed for fire detection applications in environments where moisture resistance and dependable operation are critical. The FDD CF-135-2CO-MP Heat Detector activates at 135°F (57°C) and features a moisture-proof design that helps protect against environmental conditions that can affect standard detectors. Therefore, it is ideal for industrial, commercial, and specialized fire protection applications requiring reliable fixed-temperature detection.

FDD CF-135-2CO-MP Heat Detector Function

The is designed to activate when the surrounding temperature reaches 135°F (57°C). As a result, it provides dependable fire detection in areas where smoke detectors may not be suitable due to dust, humidity, steam, or airborne contaminants. In addition, the detector operates as a non-restorable device and must be replaced after activation.

Fixed Temperature Detection

This heat detector utilizes fixed-temperature sensing technology for reliable operation. Consequently, the detector activates only when the specified temperature threshold is reached. Moreover, fixed-temperature operation helps minimize nuisance alarms in environments subject to normal temperature fluctuations.

Moisture-Proof Construction

The CF-135-2CO-MP is specifically designed for applications where moisture resistance is required. Therefore, it is suitable for damp or humid environments where standard heat detectors may be vulnerable to environmental conditions. Furthermore, the moisture-proof construction helps ensure long-term reliability and consistent performance.

Non-Restorable Design

The detector is classified as a non-restorable heat detector. As a result, once the detector has operated due to a fire event, it must be replaced. Additionally, this design provides a positive indication that the detector has been exposed to an alarm-level temperature condition.

Durable Industrial Construction

The FDD CF-135-2CO-MP is engineered for demanding environments and is manufactured using durable materials that support long service life. Consequently, it performs reliably in commercial and industrial applications where environmental conditions may be challenging.

Easy Installation

The detector is designed for straightforward installation in compatible fire alarm initiating circuits. Therefore, technicians can integrate the device efficiently into conventional fire detection systems. Furthermore, the compact design supports installation in a variety of locations.
