Edwards SIGA-H2D. Intelligent Heat Detector.

Edwards SIGA-H2D Intelligent Heat Detector with Dual Reporting

The Edwards SIGA-H2D Intelligent Heat Detector with Dual Reporting offers advanced thermal detection for addressable fire alarm systems. Engineered to respond to both fixed-temperature thresholds and rate-of-rise heat conditions, this detector is ideal for areas where smoke detection is not reliable or allowed due to environmental factors.

Its intelligent design ensures accurate reporting and efficient communication with compatible Edwards control panels.

Dual Sensing for Enhanced Accuracy

The SIGA-H2D uses two modes of heat detection: a fixed temperature alarm that activates when the temperature exceeds a set limit, and a rate-of-rise function that triggers an alert if the temperature increases rapidly. This dual reporting capability provides faster and more reliable detection in conditions where traditional smoke sensors might be affected by dust, moisture, or steam.

Because of this, the detector is suitable for a variety of applications, including mechanical rooms, warehouses, kitchens, and parking garages.

Intelligent Addressability and System Integration

Each SIGA-H2D detector has a unique address on the fire alarm loop, allowing the panel to identify its location instantly. This feature reduces response times during emergencies and simplifies maintenance by clearly indicating which device triggered the alarm.

It integrates easily with Edwards EST3 and FireWorks control panels, ensuring compatibility and streamlined programming. Technicians can configure or test the device using standard programming tools, which saves time and enhances field reliability.

Reliable Performance and Long-Term Stability

Built with advanced thermal sensors, the SIGA-H2D maintains stability over time, even in harsh conditions. It resists false alarms caused by ambient changes or temporary heat bursts, making it an excellent choice for demanding environments. Additionally, the low-profile housing supports discreet installation without compromising performance.

Its solid-state design means fewer moving parts, which reduces wear and extends service life.

The Edwards SIGA-H2D Intelligent Heat Detector with Dual Reporting combines fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise heat sensing in one intelligent device. With its addressable functionality, stable performance, and wide compatibility, it enhances fire detection in environments where smoke sensors are not ideal. For dependable thermal detection backed by smart integration, the SIGA-H2D is a trusted solution in commercial and industrial settings.
