The Siemens MSI-B6F Addressable Pull Station, which operates with the FireFinder XLS and MXL fire-alarm control panels (FACPs), provides the most advanced method of address programming and supervision currently available to the fire industry.
In general, the Siemens MSI-B6F is the essence of an ‘intelligent initiating device’ through the built-in, microcomputer-chip technology of each box; as well as Model MSI-B6F’s sophisticated, bi-directional communication capabilities with the FireFinder XLS and the MXL FACPs. Also, the manual fire-alarm box’s microcomputer chip has the capacity of storing – in memory – identification and operating status data.
Siemens MSI-B6F has all-metal-material construction, which is matte finish in red with raised white lettering. The housing accommodates a ‘pull-down’ lever which – when operated – locks in position, indicating the manual fire-alarm box has been activate. The pull-down lever remains down and locked, until each intelligent manual fire alarm box is reset, via first opening the hinged housing cover with an Allen Key, followed by closing and locking the cover.
