Edwards GSA-LED Remote Alarm LED

The Edwards GSA-LED Remote Alarm LED is a visual indicator designed to show the alarm status of a connected fire detection device. The Edwards GSA-LED Remote Alarm LED provides a clear red LED signal that activates when the associated detector enters an alarm condition. Therefore, it helps building occupants and technicians quickly identify alarm locations in fire alarm systems.

Edwards GSA-LED Remote Alarm LED Function

The Edwards GSA-LED Remote Alarm LED is typically installed in a remote location to provide a visible alarm indication from a detector that may be mounted in a ceiling, duct, or concealed area. As a result, it improves system visibility and supports faster response during emergency events. In addition, it enhances situational awareness by clearly showing which detector has been activated.

Visual Alarm Indication

This device uses a red LED that pulses or illuminates during an alarm condition. Consequently, it provides a simple and effective visual alert without requiring additional complex signaling. Moreover, the bright LED ensures visibility in hallways, entrances, or outside restricted spaces.

System Compatibility

The GSA-LED is designed for use with compatible detector bases in the Edwards/Kidde GSA series system architecture. Therefore, it integrates directly with supported smoke or carbon monoxide detectors through the base wiring. Furthermore, it ensures reliable communication of alarm status without interfering with normal detector operation.

Installation and Application Use

This Edwards Remote Alarm LED is typically installed in a standard electrical box for easy visibility. As a result, it can be placed above ceilings, outside duct detector locations, or near concealed devices. In addition, its simple design allows for quick installation and low maintenance requirements.

Applications

The Edwards GSA-LED Remote Alarm LED is ideal for:

• Duct smoke detector installations
• Concealed ceiling detector locations
• Commercial fire alarm systems
• Industrial facilities
• Healthcare and institutional buildings

Reliable Remote Alarm Indication

The Remote Alarm LED provides a straightforward and effective way to display detector alarm status. Overall, it improves fire alarm system visibility, enhances response time, and supports safer building monitoring in a wide range of applications.
