DITEK DTK-MRJ31XSCPWP Alarm Dialer Surge Protector – Protecting Critical Fire Alarm Communications

The DITEK DTK-MRJ31XSCPWP Alarm Dialer Surge Protector delivers robust protection for fire alarm panel dialer circuits, ensuring your system maintains communication integrity even amid electrical disturbances. Because alarm dialer lines are prime targets for surges, this module installs at the point of connection and shields the circuit from damaging transients. Thus, it helps preserve connectivity to monitoring stations and avoids costly downtime.

Enhanced Protection and Auto-Reset Functionality

This surge protector features a multi-stage, hybrid design that handles high-energy surges while remaining compact. Additionally, it uses an RJ31X-style connection for seamless integration with existing dialer wiring, and it includes an external grounding screw to ensure proper grounding. Moreover, it provides automatic reset after a major event, which means the module recovers without requiring manual replacement. Because it supports up to 9,000 Amps surge current on the dialer line, it offers proven protection in critical systems.

Simple Installation and Reliable Operation

Installers will appreciate the unit’s compact housing and clearly-labeled connection points. Furthermore, the device mounts quickly near the control panel and connects in-line to the RJ31X jack or corresponding wiring harness. Because it doesn’t require special tools or separate enclosures, the DTK-MRJ31XSCPWP streamlines installation. Also, it monitors the line continuously and provides a ten-year limited warranty, offering long-term assurance.
