Edwards EST 6264B. Ionization Duct Smoke Detector.

Edwards EST 6264B Ionization Duct Smoke Detector

The Edwards EST 6264B Ionization Duct Smoke Detector offers reliable detection of smoke inside HVAC ducts. It continuously monitors air movement in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. As a result, it helps prevent smoke from spreading throughout a building during fire events.

Its robust performance and seamless compatibility with Edwards control panels make it ideal for commercial and industrial environments.

Early Detection for Safer HVAC Systems

This duct smoke detector uses ionization sensing technology to detect small smoke particles created by fast-flaming fires. When smoke enters the airflow, the Edwards EST 6264B immediately sends a signal to the building’s fire alarm control panel. Consequently, the connected system can shut down fans or trigger alarms before smoke spreads further.

This quick response improves occupant safety and supports building code compliance.

Durable Build and Simplified Maintenance

Built for demanding conditions, the 6264B installs directly on HVAC ductwork without interfering with airflow. Its housing resists damage and allows easy access for testing or sensor cleaning. Therefore, technicians can perform maintenance quickly and return the system to full operation without lengthy downtime.

Additionally, its design supports straightforward sensor replacement, keeping service efficient and cost-effective.

Seamless Integration with Edwards Systems

The Edwards EST 6264B Ionization Duct Smoke Detector integrates easily with Edwards’ life safety systems. It meets industry standards for HVAC smoke detection and provides reliable communication with compatible control panels. This makes it a preferred solution for engineers and building safety managers alike.

The Edwards EST 6264B Ionization Duct Smoke Detector combines early smoke detection, rugged construction, and effortless integration with Edwards systems. Because it helps control smoke movement and protects building occupants, it remains an essential component of any fire safety plan.
