The Simplex 4906-9151 with speaker and synchronized strobe offers convenient installation in standard electrical boxes with extensions. The design of the enclosures is both impact-resistant and vandal-resistant, ensuring durability. Additionally, the device allows users to select the desired strobe intensity output. This flexibility reduces on-site inventory requirements and easily adapts to changes during construction.
The wall-mount S/V housings are a one-piece assembly, including a lens, and they mount securely to a 4-inch square electrical box with an extension. For more details, refer to the Wall Mount Installation reference. You can quickly remove the cover using a tool, and separate covers are available for color conversion.
During installation, you can adjust the strobe intensity by using a selection plug located at the back of the housing. An attached flag, featuring black letters on a highly visible yellow background, indicates the selected intensity next to the strobe lens.
When multiple strobes are visible from a single location, synchronized flashes reduce the likelihood of photo-sensitive reactions. This also minimizes the annoyance and distraction caused by random flashing. The multi-candela strobes are activated by NACs that provide the Simplex synchronization format.
