Notifier MMX-1 Monitor Module

Notifier MMX-1 Monitor Module: Reliable Input Supervision for Fire Alarm Systems

The Notifier MMX-1 Monitor Module is a compact, addressable interface designed to monitor normally open dry-contact devices in intelligent fire alarm systems. It delivers accurate supervision and rapid communication with Notifier control panels, making it ideal for both new and retrofit installations.

Key Features

Addressable Input Monitoring
This module monitors a single normally open contact device, such as a manual pull station, water flow switch, or tamper switch. It sends real-time status updates to the control panel, enhancing system awareness and safety.

Compact and Efficient Design
The MMX-1’s space-saving design allows it to mount directly inside a standard electrical box, keeping installations streamlined. It’s a great choice for locations where space is limited or concealment is preferred.

LED Status Indicator
A visible LED provides quick confirmation of module activity. It flashes during polling and illuminates steadily when the monitored device is activated, helping with on-site diagnostics and routine inspections.

Fast and Stable Communication
Engineered to work with Notifier’s intelligent systems, the MMX-1 ensures swift data transmission using reliable signaling protocols. This guarantees fast responses to any activation or status change.

Durable and Long-Lasting
Built with high-quality materials, this module withstands challenging conditions and offers long-term performance. It supports demanding fire safety applications with minimal maintenance.

Application and Usage

The Notifier MMX-1 is ideal for use in commercial, industrial, and institutional fire alarm systems. It supports a wide range of supervised input applications, including sprinkler system supervision, pull station monitoring, and other dry-contact device integrations. Its addressable nature ensures precise device identification during alarms or system events.

Installation Tips

Install the MMX-1 in a junction box close to the monitored device. Use proper grounding and follow all wiring standards per NFPA and local codes. Test the module during system commissioning to verify proper communication and supervision.
