The Honeywell HFS-MM Mini Monitor acts as an interface to contact devices, such as water flow switches and pull stations. Furthermore, the HFS-MM supports Class B supervised wiring to the load device. The Honeywell HFS-MM Mini Monitor must be mounted in a single gang junction box directly behind the monitored device of course. Also, small size and light weight allow for easy installation without rigid mounting requirements.
The HFS-MM, Honeywell Fire Systems sensor, is compatible with the model 5600 Addressable fire control panel. You cannot use the SD device type protocol on the 5600 SLC loop. The contact input module shall be an HFS-MM intelligent mini-module. The contact input module can monitor an alarm and trouble conditions from dry contact input devices such as water flow switches, supervisory switches, manual pull stations, and 4-wire conventional smoke detectors. The connection is make via wire connections to a two-wire normally open initiating devices.
Also, we need to know that the average Operating Voltage: 375 µA max (group poll); 350 µA (direct poll); 600 µA Max (communicating, IDC Shorted) Nominal Operating Voltage: 15 – 32 VDC EOL Resistance: 47K Ohm. Operating Temperature is 32ºF – 120ºF (0ºC – 49ºC), 10% – 93% non-condensing
