Gamewell-FCI ASD-PL2F Addressable Smoke Detector

The Gamewell-FCI ASD-PL2F is a commercial smoke detector designed for compatible Gamewell-FCI Velociti® addressable fire alarm systems. It utilizes a smoke sensing chamber engineered to detect smoke from a wide range of combustion sources while providing dependable fire detection and reduced nuisance alarms.

The detector features programmable sensitivity, rotary decimal addressing, dual bi-color LEDs, and continuous communication with the fire alarm control panel. Its plug-in design simplifies installation, inspection, testing, and replacement. This product is intended exclusively for commercial fire alarm installations.

Product Functions

• Detects airborne smoke
• Reports alarm conditions to the fire alarm control panel
• Programmable detector sensitivity
• Continuous detector supervision
• Individual device identification
• Dual bi-color LED status indication
• Magnetic functional testing
• Automatic maintenance monitoring

Electrical & System Information

The ASD-PL2F operates on compatible Gamewell-FCI Velociti® signaling line circuits with an operating voltage range of 15–32 VDC. Detector sensitivity is programmed through the fire alarm control panel and is continuously monitored to provide maintenance alerts when cleaning is required.

The detector communicates using the Velociti grouped polling protocol, significantly improving response time compared to earlier addressable technologies. Rotary decimal switches provide local address assignment from 01–159.
