The Edwards SIGA-CR control relay and polarity reversal relay module are part of the Signature Series system. They are smart analog standard addressable devices available in plug-in versions (UIO) and also in 1-group mounting versions. The Edwards SIGA-CR Control Relay provides a form “C” dry relay contact to control external devices such as door closers, fans, dampers, etc. This device does not monitor the state of the relay contact. Instead, the built-in microprocessor ensures that the relay is in the proper ON / OFF state. Upon receiving the command from the loop controller, the SIGA-CR activates the normally open or normally closed contact.

The system firmware ensures that the relay is in the proper ON / OFF state. At the command of the loop controller, the SIGA-CR relay energized. TB2-6 and TB2-7 provide a normally closed relay connection; TB2-7 and TB2-8 provide a normally open relay connection. A device address required. The loop controller assigned an address to the SIGA-CR automatically. A custom address assigned to the module through a laptop.

The SIGA-CR is specifically factory-set with 8 assigned personality codes that configure the SIGA-CR as an output dry relay contact. But in addition, this module will not work without electrical power.
