The Edwards KC2-OSH Conventional Smoke/Heat Detector is a 2-wire multi-criteria detector that combines photoelectric smoke sensing with heat detection for enhanced fire protection. Part of the KC2 Series, this detector designed to provide reliable detection across a wide range of fire conditions while helping reduce nuisance alarms.

The KC2-OSH features advanced optical sensing technology to accurately detect smoke, along with a built-in heat sensor that activates at 135°F (57°C) or during a rapid rise in temperature. This dual-detection capability makes it ideal for environments where both smoke and heat detection are required for improved safety.

With a head-and-base design, the detector allows for easy installation and maintenance without disturbing field wiring. Built-in self-diagnostics and automatic drift compensation help maintain consistent performance over time, even as dust or environmental conditions change.
