System Sensor SS-HEAT-HT. 190°F high temperature heat detector.

The System Sensor SS-HEAT-HT is a high-temperature heat detector designed for fire alarm systems. Its setpoint is 190°F (88°C), making it ideal for environments where elevated ambient temperatures are common and standard heat detectors would be inadequate.

Key Features and Specifications:

• Temperature Threshold: Activates at 190°F (88°C), ideal for areas with higher-than-normal ambient temperatures.
• Type: Fixed-temperature heat detector, triggering an alarm when the temperature exceeds the specified threshold.
• Sensing Element: The thermal sensing element responds to the heat buildup, ensuring reliable detection in extreme conditions.
• Compatibility: Works with System Sensor-compatible fire alarm systems that support heat detectors.
• Mounting: Designed for easy integration into ceiling or wall mount applications, depending on the installation site.

Weight and Dimensions:

• Weight: The SS-HEAT-HT typically weighs around 4 ounces (113 grams), making it lightweight and easy to install.
• Dimensions:
  • Diameter: 4.0 inches (102 mm)
  • Height: 1.6 inches (41 mm)

These compact dimensions allow the detector to be installed in various environments, from tight industrial spaces to larger open areas, without overly obtrusive.

Applications:

The System Sensor SS-HEAT-HT is perfect for the following environments:

• Industrial and manufacturing facilities: These are where machines and equipment can cause elevated temperatures, creating a potential risk of fire.
• Commercial kitchens: Such as those found in restaurants, cafeterias, and industrial food-processing plants, where heat levels from cooking or equipment operations are frequently high.
• Storage areas: Warehouses with hot processes, such as drying rooms or areas containing heat-producing equipment.
• Mechanical rooms: HVAC systems and other equipment can generate excess heat, making this detector suitable for monitoring these spaces.
