System Sensor DST10. 10 Foot Sampling Tube.

System Sensor DST10 10-Foot Sampling Tube

The System Sensor DST10 10-Foot Sampling Tube offers a reliable solution for smoke detection in large HVAC ducts. Designed to work with System Sensor duct smoke detectors, this long tube enables consistent airflow sampling across ducts up to 10 feet wide. It helps ensure that smoke particles are accurately drawn into the detector’s sensing chamber for early and effective detection.

Because wide ductwork poses unique detection challenges, the DST10 provides extended reach and stable performance in complex air handling systems.

Engineered for Wide Duct Coverage

This 10-foot sampling tube spans the full width of large ducts, drawing air through precisely spaced openings. As air flows through the duct, the tube channels a representative sample into the detection chamber. This process ensures faster recognition of smoke or other combustion products before they circulate further through the building.

Unlike shorter tubes that may leave parts of the airflow unmonitored, the DST10 offers complete coverage. Therefore, it plays a key role in maintaining detection accuracy in high-capacity ventilation systems.

Durable Materials and Quick Installation

System Sensor manufactures the DST10 from corrosion-resistant materials that perform well in HVAC environments. The tube resists warping, cracking, and vibration, ensuring long-lasting reliability. For added convenience, the sealed end cap supports proper airflow direction without the need for field modifications.

Technicians can complete the installation quickly. The tube fits directly into compatible System Sensor detector housings, which reduces labor time and simplifies inspections.

Ideal for Demanding Commercial Settings

The DST10 excels in applications such as warehouses, airports, hospitals, and large office complexes. These environments rely on wide ductwork and high airflow, making accurate smoke sampling especially important. By using a tube designed for long spans, you reduce the need for additional detectors while maintaining code compliance.

The System Sensor DST10 10-Foot Sampling Tube delivers consistent and wide-reaching airflow sampling for large HVAC ducts. Its rugged construction, simple installation, and precise coverage help support fast and reliable smoke detection. When your project involves large-scale ventilation and you need dependable performance, the DST10 stands out as an efficient and compliant solution.
