Space Age DA-001 Mounting and Alignment Bracket

The Space Age DA-001 Mounting and Alignment Bracket is a heavy-duty 316 stainless steel swivel mounting bracket designed specifically for Space Age D171 and D371 flame detectors. Engineered for hazardous industrial environments, the Space Age DA-001 allows installers to securely mount, align, and position flame detectors for maximum field-of-view coverage. Therefore, it simplifies installation while ensuring accurate detector positioning for optimum fire detection performance.

Space Age DA-001 Function

The Space Age DA-001 is designed to provide a stable mounting platform while allowing precise horizontal and vertical adjustment of compatible flame detectors. As a result, installers can accurately aim the detector toward the protected hazard area for maximum detection coverage. In addition, the bracket securely locks the detector in position after alignment, maintaining proper orientation even in demanding industrial environments.

Precision Detector Alignment

The DA-001 features a fully adjustable swivel arm assembly that provides flexible positioning during installation. Consequently, technicians can easily adjust the detector’s viewing angle both vertically and horizontally to accommodate equipment layouts and hazard zones. Moreover, the ratcheting swivel mechanism helps maintain accurate alignment over time, even in areas subject to vibration.

Positive Grip Locking Design

The DA-001 incorporates Positive Grip threads that securely hold the flame detector in position once alignment is complete. Therefore, installers can tighten the alignment hardware with confidence while minimizing detector movement during installation. Furthermore, the secure locking design helps maintain long-term alignment without frequent adjustment.

Rugged 316 Stainless Steel Construction

Manufactured from 316 stainless steel, the DA-001 is designed for long-term performance in corrosive and hazardous industrial environments. As a result, it offers outstanding resistance to moisture, chemicals, salt air, and extreme temperatures. Additionally, the durable construction complements the explosion-proof stainless steel housings used on compatible D171 and D371 flame detectors.

Simple Installation

The Space Age DA-001 is supplied fully assembled and mounts to a rigid surface using four mounting bolts (installer supplied). Consequently, installation is straightforward and allows the flame detector to be positioned quickly during commissioning. Additionally, the bracket includes the hardware required to attach compatible flame detectors to the swivel arm assembly.
