The Simplex 4098-9794 can be used with TrueAlarm Photoelectric and Heat Sensors. The sensor base comes with an alarm sounder, which provides a high output (88 dBA) with low current requirements (20mA). Meanwhile, the Simplex 4098-9794 details include power from 24 VDC or a compatible Notification Appliance Circuit (NAC) and the possibility of manual activation from the control panel.
Control Panel Selection
The alarm set point for each sensor comes determined at the control panel. Therefore, is possible to select as more or less sensitive as required.
Timed/Multi-Stage Selection
You can program the alarm for timed sensitivity selection. Such as more sensitive at night and less sensitive during the day. Besides, the control panel can provide a multi-stage operation per sensor. For example, while a 0.2% level may generate a warning a 2.5% level may initiate the alarm.
Sensor Alarm and Trouble LED Indication
Each sensor base’s LED pulses to indicate communications with the panel. If the control panel determines that a sensor is in alarm, for example, that sensor base’s LED will be turned on steadily. The same happens when there is dirt inside the base or any other type of trouble. During a system alarm, the control panel will control the LEDs such that an LED indicating trouble will return to pulsing to help identify the alarmed sensors.
