System Sensor APB200-WH. Intelligent Sounder Base. White.

System Sensor APB200-WH Intelligent Sounder Base, White

The System Sensor APB200-WH Intelligent Sounder Base, White is a low-profile, addressable device that combines audible notification and detector base functionality into a single, space-saving solution. Designed for use with System Sensor intelligent detectors, this sounder base is ideal for commercial, institutional, and residential buildings where integrated notification is required.

Its clean white finish blends into most interior environments, making it suitable for modern ceiling and wall installations.

Integrated Sounder and Detector Base

The APB200-WH acts as both a detector base and an addressable sounder. It connects directly to the signaling line circuit (SLC), allowing fire alarm control panels to activate it individually or as part of a group. This flexibility enables customized evacuation strategies and supports systems that need floor-by-floor, room-by-room notification control.

Because the sounder base installs beneath compatible System Sensor detectors, it eliminates the need for separate audible devices, reducing wall clutter and simplifying wiring.

High Audibility and Modern Design

The integrated sounder provides a loud, attention-grabbing temporal tone that meets fire code requirements for evacuation alerts. The white housing offers a neutral appearance, allowing the device to remain unobtrusive in finished environments like schools, offices, hotels, and healthcare facilities.

Its compact form factor supports modern architectural preferences without sacrificing performance or compliance.

Simple Installation and Field Configuration

System Sensor designed the APB200-WH for quick installation using standard electrical backboxes. It includes accessible wiring terminals, making connections straightforward and efficient. Detectors mount directly onto the base, allowing for rapid device replacement and system testing.

Technicians can also assign addresses and program functionality via the fire panel interface, reducing setup time and improving serviceability.

The System Sensor APB200-WH Intelligent Sounder Base, White provides a space-efficient and reliable solution for combining detection and notification in a single device. With its intelligent communication, high-audibility output, and easy installation, it supports modern fire alarm system design while minimizing visual impact. This versatile sounder base is a smart choice for installers seeking both performance and simplicity in a compact format.
