Silent Knight SK-HEAT-W Fixed Temperature Heat Detector.

Silent Knight SK-HEAT-W Fixed Temperature Heat Detector

Overview
The Silent Knight SK-HEAT-W Fixed Temperature Heat Detector is designed to provide reliable fire detection in areas where smoke detection may not be practical. This heat detector activates when the temperature exceeds a preset threshold, providing an early warning to prevent fire damage. Ideal for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, the SK-HEAT-W offers peace of mind by safeguarding both people and property from fire hazards.

Key Features

Fixed Temperature Detection
The Silent Knight SK-HEAT-W is engineered to detect a specific temperature threshold, providing reliable activation in environments where high temperatures are common. Once the ambient temperature reaches 135°F (57°C), the device triggers an alert, ensuring early fire detection.

Wide Range of Applications
This fixed-temperature heat detector is perfect for use in areas where smoke detection isn’t suitable, such as kitchens, garages, attics, and manufacturing facilities. It’s an essential part of a comprehensive fire safety system for spaces with high levels of dust, smoke, or humidity.

Reliable and Durable
Built to last, the SK-HEAT-W is designed for use in demanding environments. It features durable construction that ensures long-term reliability with minimal maintenance, offering peace of mind for building managers and property owners.

Easy Installation
With its standard 4-wire configuration, the Silent Knight SK-HEAT-W is easy to install and integrate into your existing fire alarm system. It works seamlessly with Silent Knight’s fire alarm control panels, making it a convenient choice for both new and retrofit installations.

Compatibility with Silent Knight Systems
The SK-HEAT-W is fully compatible with Silent Knight’s fire alarm control panels, ensuring easy system integration and reliable performance. This allows for a unified fire detection network in buildings, enhancing both operational efficiency and safety.

Applications

Commercial and Industrial Settings
It is ideal for commercial spaces such as warehouses, restaurants, and factories. These areas often experience high ambient temperatures, which could make smoke detectors unreliable. This heat detector is a perfect solution, offering reliable detection when fire hazards are most likely.

Residential Use
In residential settings like kitchens and garages, these devices offer excellent fire detection without the risk of false alarms caused by cooking smoke or dust. It ensures that your home stays protected while maintaining a high level of safety and reliability.

Areas with Harsh Conditions
It is perfect for spaces exposed to harsh conditions, such as attics, basements, and areas with high humidity. It provides consistent performance even in environments where other types of fire detection devices might fail.
