Johnson Controls JBG-12LX Addressable Manual Pull Station

The Johnson Controls JBG-12LX Addressable Manual Pull Station is an intelligent fire alarm initiating device designed for fast, single-action activation in commercial and institutional facilities. Built for use with Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACPs) that support addressable communication protocols, this unit provides precise and reliable alarm signaling with real-time system integration.

Thanks to its durable construction and user-friendly design, the JBG-12LX ensures fast response during fire emergencies while maintaining long-term performance in demanding environments.

Single-Action Operation with Key Reset

The JBG-12LX features a simple, single-action lever that activates the alarm system with one quick pull. After activation, the handle locks into place and requires a key reset, preventing accidental or unauthorized resets. This enhances safety by ensuring that only authorized personnel can restore the device to normal.

Additionally, the pull station includes a visible status LED that confirms polling by the control panel. This visual feedback allows technicians and emergency responders to verify device status at a glance.

Intelligent Addressing and System Compatibility

As an addressable device, the JBG-12LX communicates directly with compatible control panels using the IDNet protocol or similar formats, depending on system configuration. Each unit can be individually identified and monitored, providing accurate location data during alarm events.

Because of its intelligent interface, the pull station reduces nuisance alarms and improves overall system diagnostics. Its address is set electronically using panel programming, eliminating the need for physical rotary switches.

Built for Durability and Code Compliance

Manufactured with a high-impact Lexan housing and a textured red finish, the JBG-12LX resists wear, tampering, and environmental stress. It mounts easily to standard single-gang back boxes and meets the requirements of NFPA 72, ADA, and other applicable standards.

Its compact, professional design fits seamlessly into offices, schools, hospitals, and public buildings. The station’s consistent performance makes it ideal for both new installations and system upgrades.

The Johnson Controls JBG-12LX Addressable Manual Pull Station combines intelligent communication, rugged construction, and straightforward operation for dependable fire alarm initiation. Its single-action design, LED status indication, and addressable capabilities make it a trusted choice for safety professionals. For projects that demand responsive and fully integrated manual alarm devices, the JBG-12LX offers both flexibility and reliability.
