Honeywell TC808A1019 Smoke Detector

Honeywell TC808A1019 Smoke Detector: Reliable Optical Detection for Early Warning

The Honeywell TC808A1019 Smoke Detector offers advanced optical sensing for reliable smoke detection. Designed for addressable fire alarm systems, it ensures early warning in the event of a fire, helping to safeguard lives and property.

Key Features

Optical Sensing Technology
The detector uses photoelectric sensing to identify smoke particles quickly and accurately. This helps reduce response time during incipient fire stages.

Addressable Integration
It connects directly to Honeywell’s XLS or compatible addressable panels. As a result, each detector provides individual status, enabling pinpoint accuracy during alarm or maintenance events.

Low Profile Design
With a sleek, compact profile, the detector blends easily into ceilings without disrupting interior aesthetics. This makes it ideal for office spaces, hotels, and residential buildings.

Status LED Indicator
An integrated LED provides visual feedback on the device’s condition. It flashes during normal operation and turns solid when in alarm, simplifying system monitoring.

Drift Compensation
The TC808A1019 adjusts for dust accumulation over time. This self-correcting feature helps maintain sensitivity while reducing false alarms and maintenance frequency.

Application and Usage

Ideal for both new and retrofit installations, this detector suits environments like commercial offices, data centers, healthcare facilities, and educational buildings. Because of its fast response and addressable communication, it enhances safety in complex fire alarm systems.

Installation Tips

Install the TC808A1019 on ceilings where airflow is optimal for smoke detection. Avoid placing it near HVAC vents or dead air spots. During commissioning, ensure that the detector receives an address and confirms communication with the panel. Periodic cleaning and inspection help maintain reliable operation.
