Edwards KI-COD Carbon Monoxide Detector

Edwards KI-COD Carbon Monoxide Detector – Reliable Protection Against CO Hazards

The Edwards KI-COD Carbon Monoxide Detector is a user-friendly, battery-powered CO alarm designed to protect occupants from the dangers of carbon monoxide (CO). This advanced device provides continuous monitoring of CO levels and features a simplified battery compartment for easy maintenance. When harmful CO levels are detected, an 85dB horn sounds an alarm to immediately alert occupants. With a wide operating temperature range of 40° to 100°F, the KI-COD ensures reliable performance across different environments.

Key Features of Edwards KI-COD Carbon Monoxide Detector

• Advanced Electrochemical Sensing Technology:
The KI-COD uses cutting-edge electrochemical CO sensing technology, providing superior accuracy in detecting even low levels of CO. This allows for early warning of CO exposure, which is critical for protecting occupants from the silent dangers of this gas.
• Simple Installation and Maintenance:
This battery-powered CO detector features a simplified battery compartment, making both installation and maintenance quick and easy. Whether you’re installing a new system or replacing an older model, the KI-COD simplifies the process while ensuring reliable operation.
• Continuous Self-Diagnostics for Reliability:
The KI-COD performs continuous self-diagnostics to ensure ongoing reliability. It monitors its performance and removes any non-critical signal patterns, reducing false alarms and making sure that only actual threats trigger an alarm.
• Intelligent Design for Accurate Alarm Decisions:
As part of the KI series, the KI-COD is equipped with advanced microprocessor-based technology that converts analog information from the CO sensor into a digital signal. This intelligent design allows the device to analyze sensor data over time and make accurate decisions about when to sound the alarm, thus minimizing false alerts.
