Edwards KC3000-103 End-to-End Beam Smoke Detector.

Edwards KC3000-103 – End-to-End Beam Smoke Detector

The Edwards KC3000-103 End‑to‑End Beam Smoke Detector is a long-range optical beam smoke detection system designed to protect large open areas where traditional point smoke detectors may not be practical. Using infrared beam technology, the detector monitors smoke across a wide area between a transmitter and receiver installed near the ceiling, providing reliable early fire detection in environments such as warehouses, atriums, factories, and large commercial spaces.

This complete system includes a transmitter, receiver, and controller unit, allowing installers to monitor beam alignment, sensitivity, and system status from an accessible location. With coverage ranging from 16.5 ft to 393 ft (5–120 m), the KC3000-103 offers an efficient solution for wide-area fire protection while reducing the number of detectors required.
