The Bosch FMM-462-D Single Action Addressable Manual Stations allow people to evacuate a building to initiate an alarm and alert others still inside. Also, the included POPIT module is addressed using onboard slide switches. It is then connect to the control panel’s data expansion loop. Accordingly, the POPIT is polled by the control panel and sends reports on any opens, shorts, or ground faults on the manual station’s wiring. Additionally, the addressable feature allows the agencies responding to alarm or trouble conditions to go to the point that initiated the alarm or trouble report. Also, these low-profile manual stations are die-cast with rounded edges to fit most design applications.
These manual stations conform to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Additionally, install, test, and maintain it according to these instructions, NFPA 72, Local Codes, and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Failure to follow these instructions can result in failure of the device to operate properly. Bosch is not responsible for improper installations, tests, or maintenance devices. In addition, the Bosch FMM-462-D uses Bosch’s Addressable Expansion System for interfacing with a control panel. The FMM-462-D is a high quality, die-cast device constructed entirely of non-toxic materials. It has a low profile and rounded edges to fit most design requirements.
