Bosch FMM-462-D Double Action Pull Station

The Bosch FMM-462-D Double Action Pull Station provides dependable manual activation of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings. Built for durability and reliability, it features a double-action design that helps prevent accidental activations while ensuring ease of use during emergencies.

This pull station requires two distinct actions to activate the alarm: lifting the cover and then pulling the handle. Because of this dual-step mechanism, false alarms are significantly reduced, making it suitable for high-traffic or public areas where accidental activation might otherwise occur.

Designed with a die-cast metal housing and finished with a red epoxy coating, the FMM-462-D stands up to physical abuse, environmental stress, and long-term wear. Moreover, it integrates easily with a variety of Bosch fire alarm control panels, offering seamless system compatibility.

Installation is straightforward. The unit mounts on standard single-gang electrical boxes or surface back boxes, which allows flexibility during system design. Thanks to its screw terminal connections, field wiring is fast and secure.

The unit also includes a status indicator window and a reset key. After the alarm is triggered, the reset process is simple, requiring only the supplied key to restore the station to standby mode. As a result, facility managers can quickly reset and secure the device after an event.

Typical applications for this model include schools, office buildings, healthcare facilities, warehouses, and transportation hubs. Its rugged build and secure double-action mechanism make it ideal for locations that demand both resilience and reliability.
