Cooper Wheelock CH90-24MCC-FW Ceiling Chime Strobe, White

The Cooper Wheelock CH90-24MCC-FW Ceiling Chime Strobe, White is a low-profile audible/visual notification device designed for indoor ceiling-mounted emergency communication systems. It combines a clear strobe light with a soft, chime-based audio signal, offering a non-intrusive yet highly effective alert method. This model operates at 24VDC and is ideal for environments requiring both audible and visual signaling without the intensity of traditional horns.

Because of its white housing and minimal design, the CH90-24MCC-FW blends easily into finished ceilings in public and commercial spaces.

Clear Visual Alerts with Selectable Candela Output

The integrated strobe delivers consistent light output, with multiple candela settings that can be selected in the field. This ensures flexibility during installation and helps meet a wide range of safety code requirements. The strobe produces a clear, attention-getting flash that effectively communicates alerts to individuals with hearing impairments or in noisy environments.

Additionally, the strobe meets ADA and NFPA 72 guidelines, supporting broader compliance in modern buildings.

Chime Tone for Low-Noise Environments

Unlike traditional horns or sirens, the CH90-24MCC-FW emits a soft chime tone that works well in low-noise or noise-sensitive areas such as healthcare facilities, offices, and libraries. The tone volume is adjustable, allowing installers to fine-tune the output based on room size and background sound levels.

This makes it ideal for places where maintaining a calm atmosphere is essential while still ensuring safety.

Easy Installation and System Integration

The chime strobe mounts quickly to standard electrical ceiling boxes using universal backplates and mounting hardware. Its design is compatible with Wheelock’s synchronized notification modules, which helps coordinate signals across larger systems. Color-coded wiring and plug-in terminals reduce installation errors and save time.

Furthermore, the low-profile appearance and neutral color ensure a professional look that suits most interior designs.

The Cooper Wheelock CH90-24MCC-FW Ceiling Chime Strobe, White offers a refined approach to emergency alerting by combining a soft chime tone with bright strobe notification. Its field-selectable settings, simple installation, and modern aesthetic make it a smart choice for institutions that prioritize both performance and discretion. Whether used in medical offices, educational buildings, or public facilities, this device delivers reliable and accessible alerts without disrupting daily operations.
