System Sensor SSM24-6. Fire Alarm Bell.

System Sensor SSM24-6 Fire Alarm Bell

The System Sensor SSM24-6 Fire Alarm Bell delivers a loud, mechanical sound for fire alarm notification systems. This 6-inch bell runs on 24VDC and provides reliable performance in commercial, educational, and industrial settings. Known for its strong, distinctive tone, the SSM24-6 ensures people hear alerts and respond quickly.

As part of the trusted SSM series, this model works well in systems that require audible alarms for emergency evacuation. Its compact form and loud output make it a practical solution for many facility types.

Loud and Clear Emergency Notification

The SSM24-6 emits a resonant mechanical ring that cuts through background noise. It helps ensure that occupants recognize the fire alarm and take action without delay. The clear sound works well in busy areas like factories, warehouses, or school corridors.

Since it creates noise using a vibrating steel mechanism, the tone is highly recognizable and not easily confused with non-emergency sounds. Its physical sound production also avoids delays or distortion that sometimes affect electronic tones.

Easy to Install in Most Systems

Installers can mount the bell directly to a standard 4-inch electrical box. Its low current draw allows for more devices on a single NAC circuit, helping reduce wiring complexity. Because of this, contractors often choose the SSM24-6 for both new installations and retrofit upgrades.

The unit connects easily to most fire alarm control panels. With no programming required, technicians can set it up quickly and test it with minimal effort.

Built to Last in Demanding Spaces

System Sensor designed this bell to perform well in tough environments. The sealed motor protects against dust and moisture, while the steel housing resists impact and wear. Whether installed in a utility room or a busy hallway, the SSM24-6 continues to deliver dependable service.

Conclusion

The System Sensor SSM24-6 Fire Alarm Bell offers a strong, mechanical notification you can count on. Its reliable tone, ease of installation, and sturdy build make it a top choice for fire alarm professionals. Whether you’re outfitting a new system or expanding an existing one, this bell delivers the audible coverage needed for code-compliant fire protection.
