System Sensor P4RL Horn Strobe

The System Sensor P4RL is a commercial 4-wire indoor wall horn strobe designed for compatible fire alarm systems requiring independent control of audible and visual notification circuits. As part of the L-Series notification appliance family, it delivers dependable emergency notification while reducing current consumption compared to previous-generation SpectrAlert® Advance models.

Its compact low-profile housing, selectable audible settings, field-selectable strobe output, and plug-in mounting system simplify installation, retrofit projects, and long-term maintenance. This product is intended exclusively for commercial fire alarm installations.

Product Functions

• Audible emergency notification
• Visual emergency notification
• Independent horn and strobe operation
• Wall-mounted installation
• Field-selectable strobe intensity
• Selectable horn output
• Synchronization with compatible fire alarm systems
• Supervised notification appliance circuit operation

Electrical & System Information

The P4RL utilizes separate power inputs for the horn and strobe, allowing independent circuit control when supported by the fire alarm control panel. The appliance operates on compatible regulated 12 VDC or 24 VDC/FWR notification appliance circuits and supports synchronized operation using compatible System Sensor synchronization modules or approved fire alarm control panels.

The 4-wire configuration is well suited for applications requiring separate audible and visual notification control, including releasing systems and combination fire/CO signaling.

Features

• Commercial 4-wire horn strobe
• Red housing
• FIRE marking
• Low-profile L-Series design
• Independent horn and strobe circuits
• Selectable standard candela settings
