System Sensor DST1.5 Foot Sampling Tube.

System Sensor DST1.5 Foot Sampling Tube

The System Sensor DST1.5 Foot Sampling Tube is a specialized air sampling accessory designed for use with System Sensor duct smoke detectors. Built for duct widths up to 1.5 feet, this tube provides reliable airflow sampling in smaller HVAC applications where space is limited, but early smoke detection remains critical.

Thanks to its size, the DST1.5 offers a practical solution for compact duct systems while maintaining the performance and code compliance required for commercial fire protection.

Accurate Air Sampling for Small Ducts

This sampling tube ensures that air from inside the duct is drawn directly into the connected detector’s sensing chamber. It features precision-drilled holes along its length, which allow a representative sample of air to pass through for smoke detection. As a result, the connected system can respond faster to smoke before it spreads throughout the ventilation system.

In applications where larger sampling tubes are unnecessary or difficult to install, the DST1.5 delivers the same functionality in a smaller footprint. This makes it ideal for targeted installations in retail shops, office zones, or small mechanical rooms.

Durable Design and Quick Installation

System Sensor constructs the DST1.5 from rugged, corrosion-resistant materials that stand up to HVAC operating conditions. The tube resists bending, cracking, and environmental wear, ensuring long-term reliability.

Installation is straightforward. The DST1.5 connects directly to System Sensor duct detector housings without requiring adjustments or additional fittings. It includes a sealed end cap, which helps direct airflow correctly and maintain sampling efficiency. As a result, technicians can complete installations faster and with fewer tools.

Ideal for Targeted System Design

This sampling tube is especially useful in localized smoke detection applications. Whether monitoring small zones within a larger facility or working within ductwork that’s difficult to access, the DST1.5 helps ensure consistent performance. It fits seamlessly into systems that prioritize fast, localized detection while meeting fire code standards.

The System Sensor DST1.5 Foot Sampling Tube offers a reliable, compact solution for duct smoke detection in tight or limited-space environments. Its durable construction, easy installation, and accurate airflow sampling make it a valuable component in fire safety systems using System Sensor duct detectors. For small-duct applications that demand performance without compromise, the DST1.5 delivers consistent and efficient results.
