System Sensor APA151 Remote Annunciator Piezo Alert

The System Sensor APA151 Remote Annunciator with Piezo Alert is a remote alarm indicator designed for use with compatible System Sensor duct smoke detectors and specialty detection applications. The System Sensor APA151 Remote Annunciator combines a highly visible LED alarm indicator with an integrated piezoelectric sounder. Therefore, it provides both audible and visual notification of detector alarm conditions in locations where the detector itself may not be readily visible.

System Sensor APA151 Remote Annunciator Function

The System Sensor APA151 Remote Annunciator provides remote indication of alarm conditions from compatible detectors. As a result, facility personnel can quickly identify alarm events without direct access to the detector. In addition, the integrated piezo sounder provides an audible indication that enhances alarm awareness.

Visual Alarm Indication

The APA151 features a bright red LED that activates when the connected detector enters an alarm condition. Consequently, maintenance personnel and building occupants can easily identify the location of an alarm event. Moreover, the remote LED indication is especially valuable for duct detectors installed above ceilings or inside HVAC equipment.

Integrated Piezo Alert

This annunciator includes a built-in piezoelectric sounder that activates simultaneously with the LED indicator. Therefore, both audible and visual notification are provided from a single device. Furthermore, the audible alert improves alarm recognition in mechanical rooms, equipment areas, and other locations where visual indicators alone may not be sufficient.

Designed for Duct Smoke Detector Applications

The System Sensor APA151 Remote Annunciator is commonly used with duct smoke detectors and remote monitoring applications. As a result, it provides convenient alarm indication outside of air handling units and inaccessible installation areas. Additionally, it supports improved maintenance and testing procedures.

Compact and Professional Design

The APA151 is designed for installation on a standard single-gang electrical box. Consequently, it provides a clean and professional appearance while remaining easy to access for testing and inspection. Moreover, its compact size allows installation in a wide range of commercial and industrial environments.

Easy Installation and Maintenance

The System Sensor APA151 Remote Annunciator features simple wiring connections for fast installation. Therefore, technicians can integrate the device into compatible fire alarm systems with minimal effort. Furthermore, routine testing and maintenance procedures are simplified through visible and audible status indication.
