System Sensor 5602. Fixed Temp/Rate-of-Rise. Heat Detector.

System Sensor 5602 – 194°F Fixed Temp/Rate-of-Rise, Single-Circuit Mechanical Heat Detector

The System Sensor 5602 is a dependable mechanical heat detector designed to provide early warning of fire conditions. It combines a 194°F fixed temperature sensing element with a rate-of-rise feature for fast response to sudden temperature increases. This model is ideal for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities where smoke detection may not be practical. While some packaging boxes show minor wear from long-term storage, each unit is brand new, unused, and in perfect working condition.

Dual Detection for Greater Safety

The 5602 offers two methods of heat detection. The fixed temperature element activates when ambient heat reaches 194°F (90°C), making it suitable for high-heat environments. Additionally, the rate-of-rise sensor triggers an alarm when temperature increases rapidly, typically by 15°F (8.3°C) or more per minute. This dual protection improves fire detection accuracy and response time.

Reliable and Durable Construction

Built with rugged materials, the System Sensor 5602 withstands challenging conditions and long-term use. Its mechanical design ensures consistent performance without the need for complex electronics, making it a trusted choice for areas with dust, humidity, or high airflow where smoke detectors may cause false alarms.

Easy Installation and Maintenance

The single-circuit configuration simplifies wiring and integration into existing fire alarm systems. The detector mounts easily to standard electrical boxes or compatible bases. Furthermore, its straightforward design allows quick testing and maintenance, saving time for technicians.

Suitable for a Variety of Applications

From warehouses and boiler rooms to kitchens and mechanical areas, the System Sensor 5602 delivers reliable heat detection where it is needed most. Its combination of fixed temperature and rate-of-rise sensing makes it versatile and effective in protecting people and property.
