Spectrex FS-1100. Flame Simulator.

Spectrex FS-1100 Flame Simulator for Reliable Detector Testing

The Spectrex FS-1100 is a specialized tool designed to simulate flame conditions for non-intrusive testing of optical flame detectors. This compact, battery-operated device emits an infrared (IR) pattern that closely mimics real fire behavior. Technicians can test detector response without the risk of using actual flames.

Flame Detector Testing Made Easy

Compatible with Spectrex’s 20/20 and 40/40 flame detector series, this flame simulator reproduces key flame characteristics, including spectral output and flicker frequency. As a result, the device helps confirm that detectors are fully operational. It also ensures that systems are ready to respond to real fire hazards.

Improve Safety and Maintain Code Compliance

Routine testing with the FS-1100 supports safety protocols and regulatory compliance. It provides a cost-effective alternative to live flame tests, which can be dangerous and disruptive. Additionally, the simulator helps avoid accidental system discharges, production shutdowns, or costly delays caused by undetected faults.

Portable and Precise Flame Signal Tool

Engineered for field use, the FS-1100 features a durable design with an ergonomic handle and rechargeable battery. The integrated laser pointer allows for easy targeting of flame detectors. Because of its intuitive design, technicians can complete maintenance tasks faster and with greater accuracy.

Ideal for Spectrex IR3 and UV/IR Detectors

This simulation tool works with a range of Spectrex IR-based models. It’s especially useful for high-risk environments like oil refineries, chemical plants, or offshore platforms. Regular testing ensures consistent performance and reliable detection under demanding conditions.

The FS-1100 Flame Simulator by Spectrex is an essential device for safe, efficient flame detector verification. With its portable design, precise signal replication, and ease of use, it helps maintain high standards of safety and operational readiness. Add this tool to your fire protection toolkit to avoid risks while staying compliant.
