Space Age SSU-SL-701-KIT: CO Detection for Safer HVAC Systems

The Space Age SSU-SL-701-KIT is a powerful duct-mounted CO detector. It continuously monitors carbon monoxide levels in HVAC ducts, ensuring harmful gas doesn’t spread throughout the building. Whether you’re managing a commercial, industrial, or residential space, this detector adds a critical layer of protection.

Why You Need the SSU-SL-701-KIT

Carbon monoxide is invisible, odorless, and dangerous. Even small leaks can become deadly when circulated through ventilation systems. That’s where this device comes in.

The SSU-SL-701-KIT uses an advanced hybrid electrochemical sensor to detect CO accurately and reliably. It samples air from the duct system and triggers an alert before CO levels reach dangerous thresholds. Additionally, it performs an automatic self-test every 24 hours, giving you peace of mind.

Smart Features for Safer Buildings

This kit includes everything needed for quick and secure installation. The sensor snaps into place, making replacement fast and tool-free. Bright LED indicators clearly display operational status. Moreover, an integrated test port lets you simulate CO conditions without opening the device.

It also allows for interconnection with up to 30 units. This feature enables system-wide alerts in large buildings or across multiple zones. Built-in memory stores event history, which is helpful for diagnostics and compliance reporting.

Easy to Install, Simple to Maintain

The SSU-SL-701-KIT works with multiple power options, including 24V and 120V systems. Sampling and exhaust tubes can be loaded from either the front or rear, allowing flexible mounting. Because it’s designed for real-world HVAC environments, it supports a wide airflow range and harsh operating conditions.

More importantly, the detector complies with UL 2075 and OSHA air quality standards. It’s also listed for use in life safety applications, making it a trusted choice for professionals.

Built for Performance, Backed by Experience

Space Age Electronics has designed this kit for long-term performance. From its durable sensor design to its user-friendly test features, everything is engineered for reliability. Unlike other detectors, this one won’t leave you guessing—it tells you when it’s working and when it’s not.
