Simplex 4905-9940 is used for wall mount applications when replacing rectangular housing A/V horizontal or vertical on flush-mounted; besides, 4” square electrical box, with a TrueAlert A/V or V/O if the horn is no longer required. Also, Simplex 4905-9940 is used to cover 1-1/2” (38 mm) deep surface mounted boxes used for TrueAlert horns, V/O, and A/V.
