Simplex 4100-5005 Zone Module (new)

The Simplex 4100-5005 Module is an input zone module designed to expand the capabilities of Simplex 4100 fire alarm control panels. The Simplex 4100-5005 Module provides eight Class B Initiating Device Circuits (IDC), allowing the integration of conventional fire detection devices into an addressable system. Therefore, it is an essential component for hybrid system configurations and system expansion projects.

Simplex 4100-5005 Module Zone Capability

The Simplex 4100-5005 Module supports up to eight Class B IDC zones. As a result, it allows multiple conventional devices such as smoke detectors, pull stations, and waterflow switches to be connected and monitored. In addition, each zone can be individually supervised, ensuring accurate status reporting and fault detection.

Integration with Simplex 4100 Systems

This module is specifically designed for use with Simplex 4100 series fire alarm control panels. Consequently, it integrates seamlessly into the system architecture. Moreover, it enables facilities to incorporate existing conventional devices into a modern addressable system without requiring full replacement.

Class B IDC Configuration

The Class B wiring configuration provides a straightforward and cost-effective installation method. Therefore, it simplifies wiring layouts while maintaining reliable supervision of connected devices. Furthermore, the module continuously monitors each circuit for open or short conditions.

Flexible System Expansion

The Simplex 4100-5005 Module is ideal for expanding system capacity in both new and retrofit installations. As a result, it supports scalable fire alarm system design. Additionally, it allows phased upgrades by integrating legacy devices into newer infrastructure.

Durable and Reliable Design

Built for long-term performance, the module ensures consistent operation in demanding commercial and industrial environments. Consequently, it supports ongoing system reliability and reduces maintenance concerns.
