Simplex 4090-9105 Transmitter

Simplex 4090-9105 IDNet Fiber Optic Transmitter: High-Speed Signal Transmission for Fire Systems

The Simplex 4090-9105 IDNet Fiber Optic Transmitter is a specialized device designed to enhance fire alarm system communication through reliable fiber optic signal transmission. It plays a critical role in extending the IDNet signaling channel over long distances while ensuring data integrity and immunity to electrical noise. This makes it an excellent choice for large-scale buildings and campus environments.

Key Features

Long-Distance Signal Transmission

The unit enables the IDNet channel to transmit over fiber optic cable, significantly increasing the maximum distance between devices and the control panel. This feature is particularly useful in distributed fire alarm installations across large facilities.

Optical Isolation

By utilizing fiber optic connections, the 4090-9105 provides complete electrical isolation between buildings or system segments. As a result, it offers superior protection against ground faults, surges, and electromagnetic interference.

Compact Module Design

The transmitter comes in a compact housing that allows flexible installation near IDNet device loops or control panels. Because it is lightweight and streamlined, it fits easily in tight spaces.

Compatibility and Pairing

The Simplex 4090-9105 is designed to operate with the matching fiber optic receiver module (Simplex 4090-9106). Together, they form a complete transmitter-receiver system that supports reliable data communication across fiber infrastructure.

Applications

This fiber optic transmitter is ideal for large commercial complexes, hospitals, universities, and multi-building facilities where distance and noise are major challenges. Additionally, it serves as a critical solution in applications requiring isolation between system components in different buildings.

Advantages

• Reliable Communication: Ensures stable IDNet signal transfer across long distances.

• Noise Immunity: Fiber optics eliminate issues from electrical interference.

• Improved Safety: Optical isolation enhances system resilience and protection.

• Scalable Integration: Expands system capabilities without compromising performance.
