Secutron MRI-M500XA Isolator Module (Canada Version)

Secutron MRI-M500XA Isolator Module (Canada Version)

The Secutron MRI-M500XA Isolator Module is a high-performance device designed to protect fire alarm communication loops from short circuits and maintain system integrity. This intelligent isolator module automatically separates the affected section of the loop while ensuring normal communication with the rest of the devices. Built for reliable operation in magnetic environments such as MRI facilities, it provides exceptional isolation and protection that meet Canadian safety standards.

This Canadian version of the Secutron MRI-M500XA is fully compatible with Secutron intelligent fire alarm control panels. When a short circuit occurs, the module instantly isolates the faulty segment, preventing complete loop failure. Once the short is cleared, it automatically restores normal operation without requiring manual intervention. This ensures continuous protection and minimizes downtime in critical environments.

Designed for professional installations, the module features a compact design that fits standard electrical boxes. It also includes an LED indicator that provides visual feedback for normal and fault conditions. The MRI-M500XA is particularly suited for hospitals, medical facilities, and other institutions where reliable system performance is essential.

Key advantages of the Secutron MRI-M500XA Isolator Module include:

• Intelligent detection and isolation of short circuits.

• Automatic system recovery after fault correction.

• Compliance with ULC and CSA standards for use in Canada.

• Magnetic-safe construction ideal for MRI environments.

• Easy installation and compatibility with Secutron M500 series devices.

By ensuring that only the affected section of the circuit is disconnected during a short, this isolator module improves both safety and efficiency. It’s an essential component for any intelligent Secutron fire alarm system requiring high reliability and compliance with Canadian regulations.
