The Potter PAD100-MIM is use to monitor the status of an initiating device(s) that contain a normally open set of dry contacts. Furthermore, the module is enclosed in a plastic case to protect against inadvertent shorts and ground faults. Also, Use a single screw to mount the case. Also, the PAD100-MIM has a status indicator LED to indicate communication and alarm condition. In normal condition, the LED flashes when the device is being polled by the control panel. The LED will flash at a fast rate when input is active.
In general, the Potter PAD100-MIM micro input module is compatible with Potter’s IPA as well as AFC/ARC series addressable fire alarm control panels. Generally, this micro input module monitors pull stations and other devices where the module is installed in an electrical box or enclosure behind the device being monitored.
