Notifier FMM-4-20 Addressable Analog Input Module

The Notifier FMM-4-20 Addressable Analog Input Module

Allows the NFS2-3030 fire alarm control panel (FACP). To monitor industry-standard, linear-scale, 4–20 mA protocol sensors. The module converts the sensor output to a communication protocol that can – interpreted by the FACP for monitoring and display. There – numerous sensors available in the marketplace. They communicate using a 4–20 mA output, including gas sensors, temperature sensors, airspeed sensors, and more.

Includes numerous safeguards and protective features to ensure trouble-free operation. The external power supply – isolated from the communication line. A 500 mA current limiter and a cutoff circuit protect the module’s electrical supply from short circuits. The output voltage will cycle within safe limits – removed.

As with all of Notifier’s intelligent modules, Designed. And tested for electromagnetic compatibility and environmental reliability, in most cases exceeding industry standards. The device – equipped with a panel-controlled LED for local status indication. The standard SEMS terminals will accept wiring from 12 AWG to 18 AWG.

Some of the features and specifications:

• LED status indicator.
• 14°F – 140°F Temp. Range.
• FM Approved.
• Panel controlled status LED (bi-color).
• Rotary address switches.
• Low standby current.
