Hochiki YBN-NSA-4 Analog Sensor Base (4-inch)

Hochiki YBN-NSA-4 Analog Sensor Base: Compact and Reliable Sensor Mounting Solution

The Hochiki YBN-NSA-4 Analog Sensor Base provides a stable and versatile mounting platform for Hochiki’s analog sensors. With its compact 4-inch design and user-friendly installation features, this base offers dependable connectivity and ease of integration for fire detection systems.

Key Features

Compact 4-Inch Design
At only 4 inches in diameter, the YBN-NSA-4 is ideal for installations with limited space. Despite its small footprint, it delivers full functionality and a secure connection to the analog loop.

Durable Construction
The base is made from high-quality materials and built to endure harsh conditions. It resists warping and cracking, ensuring long-term performance and system reliability.

Polarity-Free Wiring
Installers benefit from polarity-free wiring on the SLC (Signaling Line Circuit) loop. This reduces wiring errors and speeds up installation, especially in large-scale or time-sensitive projects.

Easy Sensor Removal and Replacement
This base’s simple twist-lock mechanism allows for quick sensor removal during testing or maintenance. This makes system servicing more efficient and less disruptive.

Wide Compatibility
The YBN-NSA-4 supports a wide range of Hochiki analog addressable sensors, making it a versatile solution for various fire alarm applications.

Application and Usage

This base is commonly used in:

• Office buildings and commercial spaces

• Educational facilities

• Healthcare institutions

• Multi-residential complexes

Where space constraints exist, the YBN-NSA-4 offers a compact and effective mounting solution without compromising performance.

Installation Tips

To maximize reliability:

• Ensure proper alignment of the sensor and base during installation.

• Secure the base using compatible junction boxes or mounting hardware.

• Test each sensor after installation to confirm proper loop communication.

• Avoid overtightening screws, which may damage the mounting surface or wiring.

Routine visual inspections are also recommended to maintain performance and identify any corrosion or loose connections early.

Advantages

• Space Efficient: Compact size fits in confined or low-clearance areas.

• Installer-Friendly: Polarity-free wiring simplifies installation and reduces errors.

• Durable and Reliable: Long-lasting materials ensure stable sensor operation.

• Wide Compatibility: Works with multiple Hochiki analog detectors.
