Fire-Lite DUCTCOV Replacement Duct Detector Cover

The Fire-Lite DUCTCOV is a commercial replacement duct detector cover designed for selected legacy Fire-Lite intelligent duct smoke detector housings manufactured prior to April 2014. It allows compatible newer replacement smoke detector heads to be installed in older duct detector housings whose original cover design does not accommodate the updated sensor profile.

The replacement cover is intended as a retrofit component for existing Fire-Lite duct smoke detectors and includes the hardware required for installation. This product is intended exclusively for commercial fire alarm installations.

Product Functions

• Replaces the original duct detector sensor cover
• Supports retrofit of legacy duct detector housings
• Allows installation of newer SD365R Series detector heads
• Maintains proper detector fit and alignment
• Restores compatibility with updated replacement sensors
• Includes mounting hardware
• Simplifies field retrofit
• Supports continued operation of compatible duct detector assemblies

Electrical & System Information

The DUCTCOV is a passive mechanical accessory and contains no electronic circuitry, sensors, relays, or electrical connections. It does not provide power, signaling, supervision, or alarm functions.

Its purpose is to replace the original sensor cover used on compatible duct detector housings manufactured before April 2014, allowing proper installation of current replacement smoke detector heads.
