System Sensor RTS2-AOS: Remote Testing for Duct Detectors
The System Sensor RTS2-AOS is an automatic fire detector accessory designed to remotely test duct detectors. This multi-signaling accessory works with InnovairFlex 4-wire conventional duct smoke detectors. It includes a key switch to select one of two connected sensors, enabling you to test, reset, or perform both functions with a push-button switch. Additionally, you can measure sensitivity using the SENS-RDR sensitivity reader (sold separately).
Indicator LEDs for Easy Monitoring
The RTS2-AOS provides clear status indicators to ensure your duct detectors are functioning properly:
- Standby (Green Blink): The green LED blinks every 5 seconds when the duct smoke detector receives power.
- Trouble (Amber): The amber LED lights up when the sensor is missing or if the detector cover is removed. The delay in indicating trouble depends on the dip switch setting on the power board of the duct smoke detector.
- Maintenance (Amber Blink): An amber blink every 5 seconds indicates that the sensor requires cleaning or replacement.
- Alarm (Red): The red LED signals an active alarm condition.
