Fike FIK-M501M Addressable Mini Monitor Module

The Fike FIK-M501M is a compact addressable mini monitor module designed for use with Fike FCP Series fire alarm control panels. The Fike FIK-M501M provides a reliable interface between the fire alarm control panel and contact devices such as manual pull stations, waterflow switches, supervisory switches, and other normally open initiating devices. Therefore, it allows critical field devices to be individually monitored on the system’s signaling line circuit.

Fike FIK-M501M Function

The Fike FIK-M501M is designed to monitor a single contact device and report alarm or trouble conditions to the compatible Fike addressable fire alarm control panel. As a result, connected initiating devices can be supervised and identified by address during system events. In addition, the module supports analog communications for dependable system integration and fast event reporting.

Class B Supervised Monitoring

This addressable mini monitor module supports Class B supervised wiring to the connected load device. Consequently, it helps detect wiring faults and device activation conditions for improved life safety system reliability. Moreover, conventional 4-wire smoke detectors can be monitored for both alarm and trouble conditions when used in approved system configurations.

Compact Mini Module Design

The FIK-M501M features a small and lightweight design that allows flexible mounting in tight spaces. As a result, it can be installed in a single-gang junction box directly behind the monitored device. Additionally, its compact construction eliminates the need for rigid mounting in many applications, making it well suited for retrofit installations and space-limited fire alarm projects.

Rotary Address Switches

The Fike FIK-M501M includes rotary address switches for fast and accurate device addressing. Therefore, installers can quickly assign the module address during system setup. Furthermore, rotary addressing simplifies service, replacement, and troubleshooting by providing a clear physical address setting on the device.

Protection for Critical Fire Alarm Inputs

The FIK-M501M is commonly used to monitor:

• Manual pull stations
• Waterflow switches
• Supervisory switches
• Valve tamper switches
• Conventional 4-wire smoke detectors
• Contact-type initiating devices

Consequently, it helps ensure that important fire alarm input devices are properly supervised and reported to the control panel.

Compatible Fike Systems

The Fike FIK-M501M is designed for use with compatible Fike FCP Series fire alarm control panels. This includes select Fike IFP and RFP addressable systems. Therefore, it provides dependable integration within supported Fike fire detection and emergency communication installations.
