Mircom MIX-5351HAP. Intelligent High Temperature Heat Detector.

Mircom MIX-5351HAP Intelligent High Temperature Heat Detector, Fixed Temperature – UL, White

The Mircom MIX-5351HAP Intelligent High Temperature Heat Detector, Fixed Temperature – UL, White provides robust and accurate thermal sensing for fire alarm systems in high-temperature environments. Specifically engineered for use with Mircom’s intelligent control panels, this fixed temperature detector activates only when the ambient temperature reaches a predetermined threshold. Its addressable design, white housing, and UL listing make it suitable for commercial, industrial, and institutional applications.

Because it relies solely on fixed thermal detection, it performs well in areas where rapid fluctuations in temperature or airborne contaminants may cause false alarms with smoke detectors.

High-Temperature Fixed Detection for Harsh Environments

The MIX-5351HAP uses a fixed temperature sensor calibrated for high heat conditions. Once the surrounding environment reaches its rated activation point, the detector sends a signal to the control panel, initiating a response. This type of detection is ideal for locations like boiler rooms, equipment enclosures, or manufacturing spaces where elevated ambient temperatures are normal and expected.

By focusing on fixed temperature detection, the device ensures consistent operation and helps reduce unnecessary alarms.

Intelligent Addressable Communication

As part of the Mircom MIX-5000 series, the MIX-5351HAP operates on an addressable loop, allowing the fire alarm panel to monitor each detector individually. It communicates real-time data, such as alarm status or trouble conditions, and allows technicians to configure sensitivity or test features directly from the panel interface.

Additionally, its unique address assignment improves fault isolation, system diagnostics, and maintenance efficiency across complex installations.

Simple Mounting and Low-Profile Design

The detector features a plug-in base connection compatible with standard Mircom bases, simplifying installation and reducing wiring time. Its clean, white finish and low-profile housing make it unobtrusive in both commercial and industrial settings. LED status indicators help technicians confirm operation during inspections, saving time during service calls.

Installers appreciate the straightforward design, while building managers benefit from its reliability and ease of maintenance.

The Mircom MIX-5351HAP Intelligent High Temperature Heat Detector, Fixed Temperature – UL, White delivers dependable fire protection in demanding environments where standard detectors may not perform well. With addressable communication, fixed heat detection, and simple installation, it provides a practical and code-compliant solution for specialized thermal sensing needs. Whether used in high-heat industrial zones or enclosed mechanical spaces, this device supports accurate detection and long-term reliability.
