Edwards SD-T120. 120-inch Sampling Tube.

Edwards SD-T120 120-inch Sampling Tube

The Edwards SD-T120 120-inch Sampling Tube is designed to support accurate air sampling in HVAC ducts up to 120 inches wide. It works with Edwards duct smoke detectors to deliver a balanced airflow sample directly to the sensing chamber. As a result, the system can detect smoke earlier and more reliably across large duct spans.

Because of its extended length and efficient design, the SD-T120 provides a simple solution for wide-duct installations that require full coverage and code compliance.

Comprehensive Sampling for Large HVAC Systems

With evenly spaced perforations along its 120-inch body, the SD-T120 draws air from across the full duct width. The air sample then travels straight to the detector for evaluation. This approach ensures that airflow from all parts of the duct is monitored.

In systems with strong or inconsistent airflow, uniform sampling becomes essential. The SD-T120 helps reduce detection gaps and improves response time. Therefore, it offers better protection in commercial and industrial environments where delays can have serious consequences.

Durable Construction and Simplified Installation

Constructed from corrosion-resistant, impact-tolerant materials, the SD-T120 is built to withstand the demands of large-scale HVAC systems. Its rigid body resists bending, vibration, and environmental stress, allowing it to perform consistently over time.

Installation is efficient. Technicians can insert the tube into compatible Edwards duct detectors without special tools. Additionally, the included end cap seals off the far end, forcing air to flow through the detector. This feature ensures accurate sampling and minimizes setup errors.

Ideal for Complex or Large Facilities

This sampling tube works well in airports, hospitals, shopping centers, factories, and other buildings with wide duct runs. Instead of using multiple shorter tubes or multiple detectors, system designers can rely on the SD-T120 to simplify their layout while maintaining coverage. In many cases, it streamlines installation and reduces equipment costs without sacrificing performance.

The Edwards SD-T120 120-inch Sampling Tube offers wide-area, accurate airflow sampling for large duct systems. Its durable build, full-span coverage, and easy integration make it ideal for demanding commercial and industrial applications. When full-width monitoring is essential, the SD-T120 delivers dependable results while helping maintain system efficiency and code compliance.
