Edwards FX-PDD Duct Smoke Detector

To begin with, the FX-PDD Duct Smoke Detector is for use in duct applications where temperatures can exceed standard detector capabilities. Also, the FX-PDD Duct Smoke Detector address is set using the two rotary switches on the front of the unit. In installations where the controls and indicators are hidden from view, a remote test station or an LED indicator can connect to the detector to provide these functions. Then, the installation and maintenance advantages of Edwards intelligent detectors add value throughout their service life. Furthermore, replicable optical chambers make maintenance a snap, while the head and terminal base design make short work of installation and maintenance operations. Lastly, a plastic breakout on the detector housing optionally prevents removal from the base except with a special tool.
