Audible and Visual Emergency Notification
The 868STRA-N5 combines a powerful horn with a bright strobe to provide effective emergency alerts. Therefore, it ensures alarms remain noticeable in noisy or high-traffic outdoor areas. In addition, the visual strobe enhances awareness during low-visibility conditions. Because outdoor environments present unique challenges, this combination improves overall alarm effectiveness.

Outdoor-Rated Construction
This horn strobe features an outdoor-rated design that withstands exposure to weather and environmental elements. As a result, it performs reliably in exterior locations such as building entrances and loading areas. Moreover, the rugged housing helps protect internal components. This durability supports long-term system performance.

AC Power Operation
The Edwards 868STRA-N5 operates on AC power, making it suitable for systems that require alternating current notification appliances. Therefore, it integrates smoothly into compatible fire alarm circuits. In addition, stable power operation supports consistent signaling during emergency events.

Surface Mount Installation
The surface-mount design allows for straightforward installation on exterior walls and structures. Because of this, installers can place the device where maximum coverage is needed. In addition, surface mounting simplifies maintenance and inspection over time.

System Compatibility
This horn strobe integrates with compatible Edwards fire alarm control panels and notification systems. Therefore, it supports reliable communication and coordinated alarm activation. This compatibility helps maintain consistent system performance across indoor and outdoor areas.

Common Applications
The 868STRA-N5 horn strobe is commonly used in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and institutional properties. Typical locations include exterior walls, courtyards, loading docks, and covered outdoor spaces.
