The Cooper Wheelock E60-24MCC-FR Ceiling Speaker Strobe delivers high-performance audible and visual emergency signaling for commercial fire alarm systems. Designed for ceiling-mounted applications, this multi-candela unit provides both clear voice messages and bright visual alerts to support occupant notification during fire, evacuation, or general emergency events.

Because it combines sound and light in a compact form, the E60-24MCC-FR is ideal for environments that require clear and consistent communication in both noisy and quiet conditions.

Clear Audio Messaging and High-Intensity Strobe Output

This speaker strobe supports voice evacuation systems by producing crisp, intelligible voice messages that can reach large groups in open or segmented spaces. Its integrated speaker offers excellent sound dispersion, allowing the system to deliver messages effectively even in areas with high ceilings or background noise.

In addition, the high-intensity strobe flashes at selectable candela settings, enhancing visibility in compliance with NFPA and ADA requirements. By combining these features, the device ensures that occupants are notified promptly and clearly during emergencies.

Built for Versatility and Code Compliance

The E60-24MCC-FR supports multiple candela settings, which installers can configure to suit different room sizes or lighting conditions. It operates on 24 VDC and is compatible with standard fire alarm control panels. As part of Wheelock’s E Series, it integrates easily with other notification appliances to support full-system consistency.

Moreover, its red finish and clear lens allow it to meet visual signaling expectations for emergency devices in public buildings. Its low-profile housing helps it blend into ceiling tiles, making it both functional and discreet.

Designed for Commercial and Institutional Use

This model is a practical choice for hospitals, schools, offices, hotels, and retail spaces. Its combined audio-visual alerting capability reduces the number of devices needed per zone while supporting reliable communication. Additionally, its ceiling mount configuration helps keep devices out of reach in high-traffic areas, improving durability and maintaining aesthetics.
