Overall, the Bosch D7052 is a module that connects open contacts to an addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel. Also, the Bosch D7052 Multiplex Dual‑input Module connects normally‑open (NO) contacts to the multiplex bus of a D7024, DS9400M, or FPD‑7024 Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP). Besides, use the module for two Class B (Style B) supervised inputs or one Class A (Style D) input. All operating power for the input module is drawn from the FACP.
In general, rotary switches allow convenient address setting. An on‑board status LED on the module indicates normal, alarm, and trouble conditions and is visible on the module or on an attractive, low‑profile faceplate. Furthermore, make connections to the terminals on the rear of the module. All terminals can accommodate up to 12 AWG (ISO 4 mm2) wire; however, follow wiring guidelines specified by the National Electrical Code (NFPA‑70). All wiring is power limited and supervised.
