Wheelock HSW Exceder Horn Strobe

The Wheelock HSW Exceder Horn Strobe is an audible/visible fire alarm notification appliance designed for indoor wall-mounted applications. It combines an electronic horn with a multi-candela xenon strobe in a white housing with FIRE lettering and a clear lens.

The HSW supports both 12V and 24V notification circuits, eight selectable wall-strobe candela settings, three selectable sound levels, and Continuous or Temporal Code 3 horn operation.

Electronic Horn

The HSW incorporates an electronic horn with selectable audible operation.

This allows the appliance to provide standard fire alarm audible signaling while also delivering synchronized visual notification.

Selectable Sound Levels

The HSW provides three selectable sound-output settings:

95 dBA

99 dBA

The sound level can be selected according to the notification requirements of the protected area.

12V / 24V Operation

The HSW supports both:

12 VDC

24 VDC

This dual-voltage capability provides flexibility for compatible notification appliance circuits. The 12V configuration supports the 15 and 15/75 cd settings, while the full candela range is available for compatible 24V operation.

Synchronized Notification

The HSW supports synchronized notification with compatible Wheelock synchronization equipment and power supplies.

Synchronization coordinates compatible strobes so appliances within the same field of view flash together rather than independently.
